It is important that we know when you plan to be with us so that we can keep the projects running smoothly. Your flexibility with time and work assignments will help us to accomplish the goals we have at both locations. Let us know if you have any specific talents or needs that relate to the work we will be doing.

EVERYONE working on the WillieBuild will need to fill out and sign a RELEASE FORM. Youth under 18 need parents signature. Please print the form, fill it out and bring it with you on your workday.

Youth volunteers are welcome to work at our Special Project on May 16. We must abide by the following age restrictions on the Habitat construction site:

Under 14 years of age: not allowed on site during any phase of construction

14- and 15- year-olds: allowed to participate in landscaping and clean up near the end of the house build; must have one adult supervisor per youth

16- and 17- year-olds: allowed to participate in construction, but not get on the roof or operate power tools; must have one adult supervisor per 5 youth.

Nursery/KidCare will be provided for free at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, for children from infancy through 5 years old.

KidCare is available for these days only:

Monday through Thursdays, 8:30 - 1:00 pm

You do NOT have to be an HPUMC member to use this free service, but if you are not a member, you must be working on the Willie Build.

If you must cancel your childcare reservation, PLEASE let the church know as soon as possible.

If you plan to be at the worksite during mealtime, please provide HPUMC childcare with food for your child.

Also, since parents will be off campus, they will need to leave a cell phone number as well as keep their cell phone with them at all times in the event they are needed. HPUMC does not typically offer childcare for off-campus events, but this is an exception.

WHAT TO BRING: What you need each day will depend upon the tasks that are being done. If you have these items and can bring them with you, you'll be glad you did!

WHEN THINGS HAPPEN: Habitat for Humanity workdays go loosely by this timetable:
		8:15 - Sign-in 8:30 a.m. - Orientation and Devotional Noon - lunch provided --- Snacks and drinks are available thoughout the day 4:00 p.m. - work continues generally until around 4:00
